The trip was fantastic! I had a blast! The trip home was flawless, American Airlines gets a BIG thumbs up from me! Since we disembarked and passed customs within 30 minutes, we were at Dad's car by 9 AM - MUCH earlier than anticipated. A quick call to AA confirmed there were no closures or delays in Detroit (a massive snow storm passed through in the previous 24 hours) AND they were able to bump up my 7:45 PM flight to 11:15 AM for $25! As I hung up, we pulled up to the departure area of the airport. My bags were tagged, checked, security cleared and I still had 45 minutes to spare! Unbelievable! The flight left late, but arrived in Detroit 20 minutes early. I've never had such an easy time flying before, AA is now my airline of choice! ... Can't wait for the next cruise! | |
